High Point is open to all boys and girls league ages 4-18. The actual age of a player is determined by their birth date. The age determination date for baseball is April 30, 2010 and the age determination date for softball is December 31, 2009. Complete age details can be located below:

HOW TO REGISTER

To register for baseball you must:

• Registration Fee - Provide payment of all registration fees(scholarships available).
• Player Registration form - Register ONLINE
• Medical Release form
• Proof of Age - Provide a certified copy of the players birth certificate.

WHEN / WHERE TO REGISTER

High Point will hold in person player registrations on:

• Saturday, January 30, 2010 from 10:00am - 2:00pm; Covenent United Methodist Church
• Friday, February 5, 2010 from 6:30pm - 8:00pm; YMCA
• Saturday, February 6, 2010 from 10:00am - 2:00pm; Oakview Recreation Center
• Saturday, February 13, 2009 from 10:00am - 2:00pm; Covenant United Methodist Church

LEAGUE BOUNDARY

High Point Pony does not have a league boundary.

REGISTRATION FEES AND DEADLINES

• Tee Ball - $50.00
• All other Divisions - $75.00
• Family Maximum Payout - $150.00

Player Evaluations

ALL PLAYERS REGISTER AT THE CONCESSION STAND prior to going to a field.

Player evaluations will be held on:

• Saturday, February, 20, 2009; Johnson Street Sports Complex(Raindate Sunday, February 21, 2010)
• Saturday, February, 27, 2009; Johnson Street Sports Complex(Raindate Sunday, February 28, 2010)

Player Evaluations are a critical step in assigning a child to the appropriate division based on his or her ability level.

For information on the available divisions at HPLL please see the Baseball and Softball sections of the website.

All players with the exception of Tee Ball and returning Major Baseball and Major Softball are REQUIRED to attend one of the evaluation sessions.

Any player who does not attend an evaluation session, will be placed on a team as follows:

• The players name will be placed into a hat and drawn by the managers during the draft after all other players have been selected.

Evaluation dates for the spring season are scheduled on the following dates (each player, other than those referred to above, must attend one of these evaluation sessions to be eligible for the player draft):

• 12:00pm: 10 year old Evaluations
